Consequently named after the princess, the bag is known for its sophisticated outline and iconic cannage stitching. Should I get the Lady Dior small in lambskin or the new grained calfskin leather? I bought the Small one in a grained leather but returned it. It just did not look right. It might be more durable than lambskin (hard to say because it was way softer than Chanel's caviar leather) and it looked harsh and not as attractive. While I personally prefer the patent Lady Dior, I think that the lambskin will wear better in the long run. I have multiple patent and lambskin from the mid 90s through the mid 2010s and both materials have held up very well without any noticeable deterioration.
