,245.11 Some background info. The Seamaster Cosmic was introduced in 1967 and produced into early 1970s. Omega was “getting with the times” and Cosmic represented a radically different design philosophy compared to the traditional looking 50/60s Seamasters. The results speak for themselves. Finnish advertisement from 1969. Start by googling "Omega 136.016", and you will find information and pictures. The Seamaster Cosmic is not the most popular model of the late sixties (not really sure why), but it´s great quality and due to the unusual design of the back, it´s very comfortable to wear. You may also want to have a look in the Omega Vintage database online. Hi all, I’m new here because I’ve purchased my first vintage Omega earlier today. It’s a 165.023 with a green dial, crosshair, Seamaster Cosmic, purchased on Catawiki. I expect it to arrive somewhere next week. The seller says it is .
Joe K. Not sure what the exchange rate is like with the US$, but the Seamaster Cosmic with the dial you show typically sells on eBAY in the 250-400 US$ range depending on condition. This watch is selling for 80 usd, so you are saying its prices too high. I am new to the watch collecting world and would like to get your guys' thoughts and opinions on one of the first vintage watches I've gotten. The Seamaster Cosmic 136017-Tool 107, I got this for what I believe was a decent price below 0. Upon receiving the watch I have noticed that the crown/stem cannot perform the quick set date function .
I think, it is a nice piece of history. Omega Seamaster Cosmic (Day-Date, in German) Casematerial: 18k Gold. Movement: 166.036. Caliber: 752. Year: 1968. The main reason for this post is, to preserve the information also for other people who might be searching for information about this particular watch, or this movement, etc. So, by the difference of a few days in shipping, THIS is my first vintage Omega. Seamaster Cosmic 166.023 with a (presumed) cal 565 automatic movement. -case doesn't appear to have been heavily polished, edges still sharp, although stamping for ref # in back shows some wear (maybe from a NATO?) -dial is in nice condition, appears to my rookie . I've been seriously considering a Cosmic 136.017 in the US0 range (will be serviced right before shipment). It's a reputable seller (Kaba from IG/Reddit; very responsive so far), and most of the things about the watch look good to my admittedly untrained eyes: facets, case brushing, crown, crystal in good shape with the Omega logo, etc. In Austria, I paid EUR 600,- for a service of an Omega Seamaster Cosmic (18k). However, it is a great feeling having a freshly serviced vintage watch. At Omega, you likely will pay EUR 800-1200,-Good luck, and don't lose time.. .
1. Omega DeVille squared 1977 manual (Cal 625) right now at 5 in eBay auction 2. Omega seamaster cosmic 2000 (Cal 1012) right now at 1 at auction. I'd really appreciate any info on weather or not this are worth pursuing! With regards,
