I didn't know about the proper way to set the date (pulling the crown out to the "2" position) at the time, so I just spun the time forward by about 5 days until both the date and time were correct.The date changes by a day either forwards or backwards every time you pass midnight. Turn it until desired time is reached. Then push knob back to the first position, or to the third position to set the time.
